Does any one advised of of a place around cincinnati, oh. That I could take all of them too to get appraised? I have Mark Mcguire's rookie card and lots of others.
Beckett.com offers a liberal program where it will price any type of cards for you. You could also check the yellow pages for a comic book/collectables store - often times they proposal apprasial services.
It could be a far shot, but sometimes talking to other fans at baseball/basketball games can lead to finding out how much things are merit, I've been known to chat up people just to discover they're in the buisness of apprasial.
I hope this helps.

Becketts.com.. you'll indigence to pay

What they are usefulness and what someone will actually pay for them are two different things entirely. The McGwire will probably sell because it's a rookie card, but most of the cards from the 80's are shabby unless its a Ripken, Clemens or McGwire rookie card. You can sell others like a Mattingly rookie regionally around NY. Put them on ebay and see what you can get for them. Beckett.com is the upper-class place to get an idea what it's worth, but ebay will tell you what people are willing to pay for it.

i have lots of 1989 and 1988 baseball cards and i want to sell them?

i dont indeed want to use ebay but if thats the only way i will. i would like to have them priced first though anyone know how or where i can do that.
unfortunatly bb cards are nothing but about worthless now days. I have 1000s and have done the research on them. The watering down of the pool as well as the internet has devalued them.

Lots of Baseball cards?
Feb 08, 9188 by BeingAmamma | Posted in Baseball
Hello. I have a Dispute that I really need a answer to. Well My husband has a lot of Baseball cards that was left to him when his Brother past away. We both know nothing about Baseball or cards. Is there a place online or someone that knows if any are good anything? Thanks
You can look at the expense guides these people are giving you and you'll get nowhere. Ask the companies that print those things to buy your cards for the 'values' they type, and you'll get nowhere.
THE best place to get an idea of TRUE value is the place where things are actually being sold for legitimate money. There are card shows, but there is no way for an individual to witness every single transaction. The best place is eBay, where you can supervise items that are similar to what you have, and you can see how much they are selling for.

Im trying to sell baseball cards and some basketball and football cards as well?

I have about 1000-1500 baseball cards a lot of which are modern development 70's and 80's. I have Bo Jackson, Nolan Ryan(rookie card as well) Barry Bonds, Mark Mcguire, Ozzie Smith, etc.
I have over 15,000 in old shoe boxes :)
There Non-Standard real isn't a strong market anymore for sports cards. Five years ago, you could have gotten some serious money for the Bonds, Big Mac rookies. Don't separate how much they run for these days, but it's not close as to what they were going 5 years ago,
Overall the market for sports cards is weak. Regardless you rat on them online, at a shop, or whom ever. If you sell them in shop, you will get no more than 50% of what the card is worth. The only way you will sell those cards, that's if some one is willing to buy them. They will control the buying power as well. Being that it's a irresolute market, you don't have much options. If one person is willing to pay so much for something, another person might not be willing to nothing period.
I would recommend selling them in Ebay. Don't try excellent people off. Most people who buy cards through Ebay know what they are doing. Be very blunt about the product description and don't charge 30.00 dollars for shipping and handling,
