Baseball Cards?
I was wondering what "Series One" and "Series Two" on the baseball cards means?
"Series" is basically a way for the use strategy act openly manufacturer to divide a card product of a season into 2 or more sets to be released at different times. Or, an additional series released to update the earlier series and features traded players and rookies.

How and where should baseball cards be sold?
My dad recently bought a baseball accumulation from an estate sale. The stuff had never been sorted through, and after doing so, we found some amazing stuff (signed baseballs, augtograhed posters cards, sheets of uncirculated cards). He asked me to try and expropriate sell some of it for him, but the sheer volume that we have is making it ridiculously hard (we had to rent a storage unit to hold his press!).
I know a lot of things that we have aren't necessarily valuable. There are cards that we have a thousand of that may not be worth the box that they are in. I did a little research and found a pricing inspiration at beckett. But unless someone is looking for the card, it's not necessarily as valuable as they say it might be.
Other than ebay/yahoo auctions, is there a hamlet to list the cards/other items we have to sell? Is it better to sell it to a store rather than list each of the cards separately? Or, if selling online, should I try to keep these in sets?
If you have unmitigated sets, definitely sell them as sets. If you break them up, you will never sell each individual card. EBAY is probably the website that you will get the most fortune for them, but it will be a lot of work to list them all, package and ship them. Definitely make sure you research the "worth" of the take action before you start the auction. Also the condition of which the cards are in, play a major role in how much you will get for them.
As a huge baseball fan and a collector of cards for years, I'm disturbed just thinking about what you may have. Can I have a peak? :)
Enjoy.
How much should i sell these baseball cards for?
First off i have about 4,700 baseball cards totality. All of these cards are from the years 1991 to 1993. I have about 1,000 Fleer 1992 series cards including 50 rookie cards. About 2,000 majuscule letters deck cards with approx. 50 rookie cards and 10 collector edition cards. And the rest of the cards are a mix of pinacale, studio, and topps series 91 92 cards.
Oh and if you have any cards that i should look for that may be valuable give away the whole show me!
take it to a yoke card stores, and see who offers the most
or sell it on eBay. im sure some little rich mommys boy will want them intelligent he is making a huge investment
When purchasing older baseball cards, does the manufacturer of the card affect the card's value?
I am buying some baseball cards for my manage's birthday gift. He is really into baseball cards right now...
I bought in a couple of cards of his favorite players from the 50's, and they are both Topps cards. Does that lay hold of the price? Or doesn't it matter who made the card?
They are both graded 8, one is a Harmon Killebrew rookie slated, the other is a Ted Williams from 1955.
yes it does. I intimate buying a beckett from your local card store and taking a look. Topps is the better of the cards from the 80's and regularly book a little higher.
