How much is a Mickey Mantle baseball card worth , do you think???
We went to a thriftiness store and bought 2 bags of cards and in the bag we found a Mickey Mantle card good as new. It is a Tops, it gives his whole history.
Depends on the year. Put the last year listed in his stats and the come clean number from the back corner of the card and you will get a better answer. It is probably a pretty late year in his career and I'm guessing your judgement of a card being in great shape is not the same as someone who is buying the card. I would guess it would be between 5.00 and 20.00 if you went to buy it but you would only get 2.00 or 3.00 selling it at a playing-card shop.
How much is this Mickey Mantle baseball card?
It is a Topps baseball humorist from 1996 the card number is 564....the heading says "the sporting news" and its a mostly pornographic card. In the back of the very bottom it says "mickey mantle commemorative set card #27..can you help me find how much this is and the source. thakn you.
For the most part commemorative cards don't have a great deal of value. If you had an original issue Mantle card, you'd have something fairly valuable. Now if you had a Mantle rookie window-card in mint condition, it would be worth between $37,500 to $45,000 depending on the collector you would be dealing with.
anyone know if MICKEY MANTLE baseball cards are worth anything ?
I have 3 of them one is a 58 all superstar selection. all of them are from his 1949-1968 career. I dont have any idea of the value of any they may have. if you know please answer.
this is not a bogus question,im not a sports fan at all. my nephew who is,gave them to me. i dont have any insight about them.although they are in excellent condition and sealed in plastic display case.
OK here is the info you are looking for.
First off there were No Mantle cards in 1949 or 1950.
The earliest is a 1951 Bowman.
There are three types of cards that they could be.
1) Honest cards in nice shape vary. The 1952 Mantle is worth around $20,000 in nice shape. A 1958 All Star carte de visite in nice shape is worth about $350 and if you had his last card in 1968 it is worth around $200. All depend a lot on condition and I across really, really nice condition. A slighlty frayed corner can cut prices in half or more.
2) The cards are reprints. Companies have made copies for years of numerous cards. Some are licensed copies some are out right fakes. Both have the same value, basically zero.
3) Are re-released cards. They are similar to the licensed reprints, but were made by the inventive manufacturers (Topps). They can gain as much as $10-25 a card in perfect condition.
If you need more help, send me an email and be in position to supply a picture of the front and back of the card.
