Are topps baseball cards going to be worth a lot?

I am a art-lover of baseball cards. i usually buy topps baseball cards, but i hve a feeling that they arent going to be worth a lot. those anyone know wat type of brand sells baseball cards that will be worth a lot when I stem up?

Topps is the "benchmark" brand of cards. They aren't the most expensive, but at the same time they are the cheapest. If you are buying current cards, I'd say you quite wont make what you are paying for them, unless you happen to pull some very rare insert cards.

As for the brand that has the most potential for manking some stinking rich, Bowman. The reason is that they release players 1st cards. basically the "pre-rookie." The also have autographed rookie cards, and proportional sets that can go down to numbered out of 5, in some cases 1. These insert cards have the best potential to help you recover the kale you spent, and then some. So I say the best brand is Bowman.

Another idea, is to look for old cards at a flea market or yardsale. The older cards 50's-70s can genuinely turn around for you due to their age and rarity. Once cards hit the 80's and early 90's, they were overproduced, so they hare very common and have a low value.

i got like a million of them 10 years ago and im principled planning to hold onto them for 30-40 years and then ebay them

its not extremely about the brand of cards, but the type of card (how many are still in circulation) and the condition of a card

Im sure a mint condition Topps Joe Somebody wag is going to be worth more than a decent condition Upper Deck Joe Somebody Card, even if the Upper Deck practical joker is valued higher

never buy off ebay it long run will end more than the original value

If you're collecting cards simply to make money I suggest you do something else like stocks and bonds.

There's no telling which of today's cards are going to be worth something 10 years from now. I about due to the quantity of different sets and cards there probably won't be any particular card worth a ton of money. You should collect for the enjoyment of it and not for profit.

ive seen that theres lots of contests for topps and upper deck cards for baseball. is there any in canada?

for like baseblall cards ro companys or locality?

I about so

I need help with 2007 topps baseball cards.?

Today I sure to gather up all of my Topps 2007 baseball cards and put them in a set. However, I'm missing a lot of cards in the set. My little brother said he would trade me all of his. I said okay, and I worked out a thinking trade. So I started to put the cards in order when I noticed the numbers that were on the back of the cards he gave me. They all said UH ( For example UH 304). So I would like to cognizant of what pack he got them from so that if I go to buy more Topps 2007 baseball cards I don't get the cards that say UH.

Topps 2007 baseball cards were first released in two series and numbered 1-330 (Series I) and 331-660 (Series II). A third, extended series was added, numbered UH1-UH330 ("UH" stands for "Updates & Highlights"). Most of those players were repeats from Series I & II in the uniforms of their new teams or additional rookies (the first two series were photographed and designed before many trades and free surrogate signings were completed).

what might the price be for this amount of baseball cards?

i have a whole lot of baseball cards most are topps and some capitals deck, but some of them (a whole lot of em) are from the late 80's era and only like 10 of em are bad, but the rest are either perfect or near perfect condition predominantly the 80's ones. any estimate on teh price?

Cards from the modern 80's and early 90's were extremely overproduced. The supply has far outlived the demand for those years and most of them are worth less now than they were 20 years ago.

The upper-class cards from that era would be the 1989 Upper Deck cards and the 1990 Leaf cards. Both sets weren't produced in mass quantities like the Topps, Fleer, Donruss and Get laid cards were.

Value is approximately a penny for the commons and maybe 25 cents to a dollar for the stars.

Book Review: Mint Condition by Dave Jamieson Have you ever stopped and wondered about the portrayal of baseball cards? How did the T206 cards received that designation? What gave Topps the edge in the great card wars of the early 50s? How did Upper Deck coffee-break into the trading card industry?

Hobby turns into business venture
Along with uncorrupted baseball card treasures from the 1950s or 1960s, like a 1954 Bowman Mickey Mantle, as well as brand-new packs of Topps cards psyched up to be opened, there are some non-sports collectibles. The sort of things someone never thought had

His 2011 Topps baseball be unsecretive reminds fans that just about a year ago, June 10, 2010, Headley started the rare triple jolly along a fool around, a triple play he called, “The most routine one I've ever seen.” Yup, just your average 5-4-3 triple think about. Happens all the time.
