Who is the most collectible (baseball cards) and most liked baseball player in the game today?

If you compile baseball cards who is the most likeable guy in the game today? He may not be the best (like A-Rod)

Also why do you think he's so popular?

Thanks in advance.

According to Beckett's:

1. Barry Bonds
2. Alex Rodriguez
3. Diasuke Matsusaka
4. Derek Jeter
5. Ryan Braun
6. Cal Ripken Jr.

And why Ryan Braun is on that inventory is beyond me. Most likely because of the ROY Award. But let's see what happens in the Sophomore Year. Take him out of the mix, and there are 5 excellent choices.

My personal favorite on the shopping list is Jeter and I've been an avid collector of his memorabilia. He is very popular throughout baseball (except where some of the idiots and haters here trash talk him). He's one of the best bib in the business at SS, plays hard, is a respected team captain, gives 110% on and off the field, and much more.

One would cogitate on Jeter is popular, and he is, but not all that much amongst card collectors. I've found (in my limited experience) that Yankees fans are the most tight-fisted, insanely hypercritical collectors out there. Or possibly they just have to save all their pennies to buy season tickets. But I have an indescribably difficult time selling quality Jeter cards, even at humble-than-fair prices.

Derek Jeter is very well like around the provinces. As far as baseball cards older retired players like Ripken would be more valuable because of the time factor. Todays heroes could bust promptly and the records that could of been made, never happen...they just retire.

I muster and I think that Alex Rodriguez probably. He is going to break the home run record in the future, and didn't take steroids, so in my impression i think he would be the one.
