Do you own an Oreck Vacuum? Would beloved feedback on what you think of this product. Also, if you own a central vacuum system, I'd love your honest feedback on this. I'm considering either/or vac outcome for my house. Thanks!
Orecks are immense for small jobs, but even the commercial models will burn out quickly if subjected to hard use. The central vacuum system will outlive 20 compact vacuum systems and are better built than them as well. They're also a bit more convenient as you don't have to lug the machine around; only the attachments. The Kirby is another choice as well, but these are bleak, overpriced and not very user-friendly with the attachments. They are well-built and will last a long time with proper servicing.

Oreck's (at least the one's we have at effort) are HORRIBLE, maybe it's because they have the cheapest ones cause I know they are supposed to be good vacuumes. I offer Dirt Devil's for home use. Mine cost $39.99 and it works better than the $350 vacuumes they have at employment.

I removed all the carpet and installed hardwood floors or tile throughout my for nothing. Its so much easier to use a commercial size dust sweeper and a professional janitor mop and bucket than the constant vacuuming that never ends. I use big scope rugs that can be shampooed, rinsed (then lifted to slide 5 gallon buckets under so it can dry in the sun) on the driveway once a year. Before I did that I used to use a Rainbow vac...any that use still water to keep the dirt is best cause it can't make smaller particles of dust in the air. I got so tired of carpet cleaners that wouldn't suck out all the open-handedly I finally ran a hose direct from my water heater and sprayed steaming water on then sucking it up with a Rigid department store vac.

Before you buy go to www.amazon.com and look up the individual vacuums. Scroll to the bottom of the page and read USER reviews. I do this before I buy anything, even before I watch some movies! There are often folks who are upset about shipping (from amazon) or whatever, but you get a wide purpose of problems, pluses etc.
Good luck! Wish I had a good vac, my $40 one is the pits. lol

Beam Central Vacuum No Longer Working?

After mopping the kitchenette floor I vacuumed the water up with the Beam Central Vacuum and I had to unplug the vacuum unit in our garage in order for it to shut off. Today I was vacuuming and the vacuum piece shut down. Does anybody know how to resolve this issue or companies that work on Beam Central Vacuums?

Yes, but the electrons run into air molecules and they twist the beam and disperse it.
I remember reading about some approach where a powerful laser is fired down the same path to ionize the air first, then the electron beam is fired afterward with much less dispersal. This kidney of thing could be used as a weapon, obviously.
