How do I make my own baseball cards for my little league team?
Chiefly, when the team takes there pictures, they can choose what size they want(4 x 7, 9 x 5, ect...) they are usually on the forms they take to determine what they want. But i dont think that you can get there stat's and batting adverage on them.
I'm not so sure, that's the way we do it
i want to make baseball cards for kids little league,,, is there software for this? pic on front stats on back
The photographer that does our little league photos has that as an opportunity so there must be a program out there that does it. Though the Stats are more like height, wieght and position. if you can't find the software to do it yourself, contact the photographers that do that off one's feed of thing you might be able to get them to do it for a group price if you are trying to do a whole team.

How Thick Is 120lb. Gloss Cover Stock?
I'm wondering in down-to-earth terms because I have no frame of reference for 12pt. or 14pt. sizes. What I am trying to do is print some baseball cards for a little league team. I want these to look as professional as accomplishable so hoping that the 120lb. gloss cover stock is as thick as typical baseball / trading cards.
Your help is much appreciated, printers experience free to comment as well if you can work with a fast turnaround.
Thanks in advance.
According to http://www.instrument-paper.com/weight.html under teh COVER column 120lb is equivalent to 312GSM which is thicker than most normal banner laser printers can handle, and also thicker than a lot of inkjets can handle.
Read printer manual for device you are printing on and effort out the thickest paper it can take. then get the next weight down.
BUT REMEMBER if you are printing on a laser printer, to make sure the cards don't smudge if they get a decline of water on them, that you CANNOT use coated inkjet paper of any form as it will melt in the fuser.
IF you are planning on getting a printing institution to do it, go talk to one and ask to see the paper stocks they can offer to get a gauge for thickness that way.
