anyone recall any good source for antique reproductions and other home unique home decor at wholesale prices only.
i went to the peculiar museum and they gave me the times when you could go in for an informal appraisal (ap. $10-20 and not in writing)
the phone book does offer professional appraisals that you can get in writing..that the appraisal writes up a professional opinion photos etc. and price..
eg..I went in with a painting that in galleries sells for $200..
i sold it on ebay with the simple appraisal..for $120 and all shipping was paid..
the informal appraisal was $10 at the local mueseum..
my children didn't need the painting..and I don't have room to store all this..
for the $10 appraisal..it was worth it..
some of my artwork was just talented amateurs and i yard sold them for $50 each which is about what I paid..

called Christmas ( or something like that ) which made quality
antique reproductions of circa 1900 accessories? Are they still in

I don't be versed if it was Houston based, but there was a company located in N.W Houston, that sounds like what you are referring to , This one is no longer in business. I would counterfoil your local directory, and call some of the older antique stores , I'm sure they would recall this one or have some great information for you .
