How does the whole seed and fruit thing work in flower reproduction?
Apr 17, 2009 by Georgia | Posted in Biology
I have been frustrating to find an answer that makes sense for weeks and this is my last resort so if there are any biology experts out there?! PLEASE HELP!!
and if you could tell me how it all relates back to the design of a seed-it would be greatly appreciated.
Fruit has seeds in it. So, if an unrefined comes along and eats the fruit it will eventually excrete the seeds as waste products elsewhere, allowing the seeds to be dispersed over an size. The seeds may be "called out" from dormancy in this process if chemicals from the animals body help that.
