What is the job title of an artist who copies paintings for a living? ?

There are artist who to paint copies of original art for museums and private collectors to display instead of the valuable original paintings. I have heard the dub once but can't remember what the name for it or the title for the artist who does it. Does anyone know the term ore the title of the artist/copier of the art or the art itself is called?

Not an artist.
I mull over its called a "reproduction painter"

Can't copyright copies of paintings in public domain, but can copyright performances of musical compositions?

Am I alliance this correctly? If you paint a replica of Mona Lisa you CANNOT copyright it, but if you precisely conduct Mozart's requiem and memorandum the performance, you CAN copyright that recording?

You can copyright it as a feeling recording, but not as a musical work. So, if someone uses THAT exact recording without your permission, it's copyright infringement, but if someone at most performs Mozart's Requiem, you have no claim against them because you don't own the musical work.

How are prints or copies of paintings made?

The three most non-private ways are:
Lithograph (printing press) cheaper, but less fade resistant
Giclee (sophisticated inkjet printer) higher blue blood, more durable
Hand painted copies done by artists (Quality depends on the skill of the artist.)

Where can I get (online preferrably) decent copies of John William Waterhouse paintings?

They don't willy-nilly have to be canvas oil paintings. I would even take the poster style ones if they are decent.
